Apache Log4j Vulnerability

The weekend saw a large news buzz across the internet around the problem identified with the Log4j Apache Module, that could lead to web facing devices being compromised.

ELIVE™ would like to assure its customers that we do not have the Log4j Apache Module active on any of our directly controlled server systems.

If you have a Dedicated or Virtual Server with ELIVE, we would strongly advise that you check if your system has the Log4j module active. If it has, it should be deactivated unless it is required by your web application, in which case you should ensure it is patched immediately.
